About Grandmaster Flash
The first hip hop artist ever honored to enter the Hall of Fame, Grandmaster Flash was inducted in 2007 by Jay z. The style he has created in the late 70s and entering the 80s has shaped much of the hip hop that we have heard from its first days to this day. Gang Starr and Public Enemy are even counted among those hip hop artists influenced directly by Grandmaster Flash.
